The selected payment provider receives the information needed to process a payment. We receive the transaction status and references made available through Ecwid or that provider. Do not email passwords, full card numbers or bank credentials.
We use information to run the store, answer questions, check delivery eligibility, fulfill orders and resolve cancellations, returns, refunds or disputes. We also use relevant records to detect misuse and errors, protect the store and meet accounting or legal obligations.
Optional marketing messages depend on the choice you make. Unsubscribing stops those messages but does not stop order, support, security or legal messages that are still needed.
Where a legal basis is required, it may be steps you request before buying, performance of a purchase contract, a legal obligation, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, or consent for an optional activity.
Our storefront uses Ecwid by Lightspeed for catalog, cart, checkout and order-management services. Ecwid processes customer information on our behalf as described in its service and data-processing terms. Porch & Vale remains your contact for requests about store records. See Lightspeed's privacy information.
We share the information reasonably needed for an order or request with the payment provider used at checkout, suppliers or fulfillment providers, carriers, and email or support providers. Other enabled service providers may assist with security, analytics or professional advice. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to establish or defend a legal claim.
Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. Their own notices and service terms explain their handling of information.
The Ecwid storefront uses cookies and similar storage for the cart, checkout, account sessions, security and saved preferences. Some storage is necessary for shopping features. Ecwid also provides analytics; additional analytics, advertising and embedded-media tools apply only when enabled.
Where a cookie banner is displayed, use it to accept or decline the optional categories offered. If a Cookie settings link appears in the footer, you can reopen it to change your choices. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser, which may affect the cart or checkout.
A payment provider may use its own technologies when its service loads. Ecwid's cookie information lists platform storage purposes and lifetimes; not every listed tool is necessarily active here. Clearing cookies does not necessarily delete information already received by a provider.
We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, including completing orders, handling support or disputes and maintaining records required by law. The period varies by record. Providers may have separate retention requirements.
Depending on applicable law, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, restrictions on its use, or information about how it is handled. You may also be able to object, withdraw consent for an optional activity, appeal a response or complain to a privacy regulator.
Email us with your request and the email address you used with the store. We may need enough information to match the relevant records and prevent unauthorized access. We will explain if we must retain information or cannot complete a request in full.
We may update this policy when our services or information practices change. The date above identifies this version. We will provide any additional notice or choice required for a material change.
